Step 1

Enter the domain/IP/hostname into the address text box as shown below:

Either hit the Enter key on your keyboard or click the Start trace button as shown in the image below:

If (in Options --> Preferences) you have not chosen to perform an advanced trace automatically then simply click the button, shown in the image below, when the basic trace has been completed.

We recommend performing an advanced trace to get the most accurate information.
