Once a trace has been completed you have the option to save it. This can be useful if you want to send the trace to a colleague or post it to a web site.
You can either use the File --> Save option or click the Save trace button, as shown below:
You will then be prompted to save the trace to your hard disk. The default save location is the reports folder in the Visual IP Trace folder in your User home directory (e.g. c:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME\Visual IP Trace\v5\reports).
To view the trace again you can either go to the folder mentioned in step 2 above and open the trace, or, click on the My Traces tab and locate the trace. If you double click the trace in the My Traces tab then it will open in Visual IP Trace instead of an HTML document.
